7 Top Tips To Keep Your Asthma Under Control


Following these steps will help you control your asthma.

1. It is really important you know what medication you’re taking and the right time to take the medications so that you can keep track of your progress.

2. You should be eating lots of healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables. Try to cut back on the fatty food e.g. junk food.

3. Try to drink at least 2 litres of water a day to keep your body from getting dehydrated.

4. Contact your nurse/doctor every few months so that they can track your progress. Do this more frequently if your asthma is severe (as well as children).

5. Doctors and nurses are there to help you not just with your asthma but also your lifestyle. If your asthma is affecting any part of your life, identify them so that they can help you find ways to over come it to enhance your life.

6. It is good to talk with your doctor to help identify and avoid triggers asthma attacks, and finding ways to live with it.

7. Always remember to carry your inhaler with your. Its usually is best if you always have one in your coat or bag in the case you do forget.
